Kumkum Bhagya’s Mugdha Chapekar shares how happy she is for Pooja Banerjee since she did not quit the show during her pregnancy

Zee TV’s popular primetime drama – Kumkum Bhagya, has been ruling audiences’ hearts since its launch in 2014. Produced by TV czarina Ekta Kapoor and featuring seasoned actors like Shabir Ahluwalia (as Abhi), Sriti Jha (as Pragya) along with Krishna Kaul (as Ranbir) and Mugdha Chapekar (as Prachi); this family drama explores and brings to life a whole range of emotions as well as the deepest intricacies of human relationships. The chemistry between its lead couples – Abhi-Pragya and the next-gen couple Prachi-Ranbir, and its intriguing plot full of twists, turns and surprises have kept the viewers hooked every day of the week.

Pooja Banerjee (Rhea) recently revealed that she is expecting her first child and is still shooting for her show Kumkum Bhagya as it’s not a big deal for her and she is just following her mother’s footsteps. She has been shooting regularly and breaking the stereotype of a pregnant lady not working. While Pooja has been an inspiration to a lot of other women with her dedication towards work, her co-star Mugdha Chapekar talks about how she is happy and inspired by Pooja’s passion for her work.

Talking about the same, Mugdha mentioned, “I am extremely happy about the fact that Pooja had decided to work during her pregnancy. It is honestly inspirational to see her work with the same enthusiasm and dedication that she used to before. Everyone on the set is being so careful with her about things and taking care of her. Be it her food, her comfort, or even her work timings, everything has been taken care of by the production team as well as us.”

She added, “We all are extremely excited for Pooja’s baby, it’s like a new member will be added to our Kumkum family and we cannot wait for it.”

Well, Pooja’s pregnancy journey has been inspiring us. In the upcoming episodes, we will get to see a lot of twists and turns in Prachi and Ranbir’s life, will their relationship get better, or will it keep getting worse and worse?

To know more, tune in to Kumkum Bhagya every Monday to Friday at 9 pm, only on Zee TV.
