MUMBAI: Actor Vivian Dsena is currently nursing a back injury due to which he has taken some time off. The actor, who plays the lead role in Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, hurt his back during a football match in Pune two months back and the pain seems to have surfaced once again.
“The nerves in my spinal cord got a jerk while I was playing football sometime back when I was in Pune. It didn’t hurt much at that time but it got worst while travelling every day from Andheri to Naigoan for my shoot. The doctor has told to be on the bed for 15 days but that seems difficult as I am a daily soap actor,” said the actor.
In fact, Vivian might be returning to work soon. He shared, “I might get back to shoot in another two days but I am not sure yet as the doctor is insisting that I rest.”
Added Vivian, “The precautions that I am taking for now is complete bed rest. The doctor has told me to avoid masala or spicy food. The only cure for this is bed rest and medication. In fact, the neurologist and spine doctor was stunned at how I am surviving with this pain. In this condition a person may die of pain, he said. A nerve has got compressed by one of my discs and rest and medication is the only solution.”
Sources from the show say that if he doesn’t resume shoot soon, the script will have to be changed to accommodate his absence. They do have a bank but not of too many episodes.
