Sony Entertainment Television will soon be home to the story of the most loved god, Ganesha. This Mythological show, Vignahartha Ganesha went through a long process of screening and shortlisting actors to fit the role of Ganesha. After a long search, Uzair Basar won the hearts of the creative team and was finalized to play the pivotal role in Vignahartha Ganesha. Uzair also has a sweet tooth which is helping him to replicate the look of the pot-bellied God on television.
When contacted Uzair, he confirms, “Yes, I was very happy that the creative team chose me for the part of Lord Ganesha. I have read a lot of books on Lord Ganesha and his stories are very interesting. Now I am eating all my favorite sweets such as modaks, laddoos, chocolates etc. and also following a simple diet routine that is helping me to gain weight so that I get a round tummy like Lord Ganesha.”
The show primarily aims to showcase the special relationship a parent shares with their child and will also highlight the unheard stories of Ganesh’s journey from Vigna child to the most loved god.
