The ardent fans of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah went berserk about the rumours of actress, Disha Vakani aka Dayaben getting REPLACED in the show owing to her real life pregnancy.
The newswagon was filled with speculation about the probable replacement of Disha in the show as the actress is expecting her first child and that actress Giaa Manek will be the one who would replace her.
However, according to a report in a leading news daily, all these speculations can now be put to rest as the makers have decided on retaining Disha in the show.
Yes! That’s right. The fans can rejoice as their favourite Dayaben will not be quitting the show anymore.
According to sources, the makers did not want to replace Disha as she is an integral part of the show. So instead of doing any such thing, they have decided to give Disha an extended leave. They are utilizing her availability by taking close-up shots for the episodes and have also arranged for shoots at her home.
Also, they have decided to focus on other characters in the meantime.
