How has life changed after marriage?
Divyanka: I look forward to coming back home from work and spend quality time with my husband.
Vivek: I have always been a very outgoing person and love going out with my friends. However, now I have to balance my social life with my personal life and plan my schedule in a way in which I can make sure that I am giving priority to my wife.
Being a celebrity couple, how has it been for you so far?
Vivek: Our fans saw us together even before we had married and hence it’s been great. The love ‘Divek’ gets is one of the greatest blessings in our lives which we are always so grateful for.
Divyanka: When you are a celeb, people watch you and judge you for every move you make but they don’t understand that it’s futile to gauge the sanctity of a relationship from outside as it’s a pact that’s only best understood by the two individuals in it.
How do you tackle the fame and criticism that has now become an inherent part of a celeb’s life?
Vivek: Every profession has its pros and cons and fame and criticism go hand in hand with the love and adulation we get. We take it in our stride.
Divyanka: Constructive criticism is always welcome and with fame one just needs to make sure they remain grounded and keep working harder as with fame comes responsibility.
What makes a marriage/ relationship work?
Vivek: In a relationship there should be loyalty, trust, and respect. I feel these are indispensable foundations of a strong relationship.
Divyanka: Communication and making sure that you are sharing your feelings, good and bad days with each other.
