Bigg Boss 9, also known as Bigg Boss: Double Trouble, (stylized as Bigg Boss: Nau), is the upcoming ninth season of the Indian reality TV series Bigg Boss that is scheduled to premiere on 11 October 2015 on Colors TV. After much speculations from last season Salman Khan returns to host the ninth season. The first promo of the season was released on 6 September 2015.
The house theme mainly focused on aesthetics to adapt to the underlying premiere twist for the ninth season which revolved around the housemates entering the house in pairs rather than as individual housemates. The constituent theme for the season therefore is “Navras”, also known as the nine emotions of human being, related to the season number “9” in its installment. The house sections are replicated to depict places in history and around the globe. The exterior of the house is crafted to recreate the Garden of Eden. The kitchen contains most of its sculptural and art pieces from the architecture of Santorini while the bathroom area follows a glitzy Las Vegas theme. The bedroom contains all double bed and the confession room is situated between the kitchen and the living area as with every series since 2011, featuring a royal themed chair.
The ninth season of the Indian version of Celebrity Big Brother UK, Bigg Boss, will premiere on Sunday (11 October). This year, the theme of the show is Double Trouble and fans can expect a lot of drama and twists on the Colors show.
The promo of the premiere episode hints that the network is planning to explore “complicated relationships” this season. And five contestants who have reportedly been confirmed so far include (via Filmi Beat): Michelle Maria Rao, Digangana Suryavanshi, Aman Verma, Ankit Gera and Roopal Tyagi.
In the latest promo, host Salman Khan, is seen entering the sets along with ex-contestant Elli Avram and former co-star Daisy Shah. The ladies are seen fighting to have Khan by their side, pretty much suggesting that fans could get to see ex-lovers locked in the house.
Like each year, this season too, may see around 13 to 16 participants entering the house that has multiple cameras to document their daily lives. Once inside the house, they will have no access to the outside world.
