Ekta Kapoor is the queen of the television industry. If there’s one person who has the longest list of successful shows, it is she. She has been ruling the industry since the 90s. In the 2000s, Ekta gave the audiences some interesting dramas to watch, which changed the face of television. Some of the serials were Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kkusum, and Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Even after so many years, these shows and their characters are still etched in the minds of the audience.
Ekta recently brought back one of her most popular shows, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The earlier season starred Shweta Tiwari, Cezanne Khan, Ronit Roy, and Urvashi Dholakia. In the reboot version, Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan are playing the leads.
While talking to leading publication, Ekta was asked why she remade Kasautii and not Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi or Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. To this, the ace producer said that the story of Kasautii was much better than the other two.
She also said that she would never make Kyunki and Kahaani without Smriti Irani and Sakshi Tanwar respectively. Meanwhile, the audience loves the reboot version of Kasautii, especially the chemistry between Erica and Parth. The viewers are excited about Komolika’s entry on the show. Hina Khan will be playing the iconic villain. Neither Ekta nor Hina has confirmed the news. However, Urvashi said in an interview recently that Hina is the new Komolika.
