Shifting from a typical format where social dramas are only presented, Shakti will roll out a special segment where the lead character of the show – Soumya will be seen interacting with the avid followers of the show.

It is already known that Shakti has a storyline against the backdrop of a kinnar being victimized to society pressures. It was only when Harman falls in love with her that she is able to withstand all the hindrances in her life, especially her mother-in-law, Preeto!

Preeto has tried numerous stunts, where in one instance she even attempted to kidnap Soumya and sell her off for trafficking but it was Harmant who saved her. Now that Preeto has got Harman married to Surbhi, she disregards her only because of one reason, that is, for being a kinnar!

In this pretext, Soumya will be seen communicating directly with the fans and asking them if it is right for Soumya to be treated the way she is? Doesn’t she have the right to be a mother? Does she not have the right to have an acceptance in the society?
