The Anupam Kher Show – Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai on Colors will have the charismatic Rishi Kapoor on the hot seat.
The actor who has been part of the ‘Golden Musical Era’ of Bollywood has a lot of evergreen musical numbers picturized on him.
And in a spontaneous conversation with host Anupam Kher, Rishi Kapoor called today’s music as ‘Noise to the ears’…
We hear that Rishi Kapoor did not mince words when he said that this generation’s music lacked meaning, and can never be on par with the melodious music of yester years.
Talking about his own son Ranbir Kapoor’s number ‘Balamm Pichkari Tujhe Maari’, he commented that such a song can be sung or written by anybody and everybody, as even till date, he has not been able to decipher the exact meaning of the song.
Comparing today’s songs to that of the olden days, the actor said that by listening to the music, one could clearly picturize what the visual of the song can be like. But today, this theory does not hold good as every song lacks meaning.
To sum it up, Rishi Kapoor stressed on the fact that, “Today’s music has a definite shelf life.”
