Pulkit Samrat says Yami Gautam was no where in the picture during wife’s miscarriage.
Pulkit Samrat was all over the news recently for his alleged relationship with actor Yami Gautam. His ever increasing closeness to Yami led to the much talked about split with wife, Shweta Rohira. The couple were married for a year, before their marriage hit the rough patch. While Shweta has been quite vocal about the entire issue, Pulkit remained tight-lipped regarding the whole thing.
Now, the ‘Sanam Re’ actor has come out in the open to clear his side of the story. In an interview with a leading daily, when asked about his alleged relationship with Yami Gautam, while his wife suffered a miscarriage, he was quoted saying, “It is really shameful of people to think of such things. This separation was difficult for both of us and we are taking their own time to deal with it.”
About the miscarriage he said, “It is really disgusting to use this as a topic. I was shocked to read about this, this is a personal thing for any couple and using it for news stories is just not cool.”
He further added, “The miscarriage happened four years ago and it was tragic for both of us. I was shocked and all this is just fabricated.” He also said that Yami wasn’t anywhere in the picture back then, thus blaming her for their separation makes no sense. Pukit went on to saying that he believes that Shweta’s mom was responsible for all their problems. What’s shocking is that the couple got married in 2014 while Samrat’s statement claims that the miscarriage happened four years back. Well Oh Well!
