MUMBAI: There is a stigma that friendships in the glamour industry are fragile. While there are many examples of two actors not getting along well, there are various television stars who have pointed out that strong foundations can be established in the industry. To name one of the many, we have Rithvik Dhanjani, Ravi Dubey and Karan Wahi making a brilliant trio. And they sure do keep us on the edge of our seats with their antics.
And just like them, we have yet another trio who are more like a family than just friends or co-actors.
Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai (Bindu Productions and SJ Studios) on Sony TV is a modern age love story that talks about the relationship scenario of the current generation. The show, recently, reached a mark of 50 episodes and the entire cast was seen in a celebratory mode. Ankit Raaj, who is a part of the show, took to Instagram to post a picture of him with Namit Khanna and Aakash Jaiswal signifying their bromance!
Namit and Ankit have been friends right from their modelling days for flagship brands and they share a great friendship. Having shot for two months together, Ankit is overwhelmed. Also, with Aakash joining the cast of Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai last week, the happiness has just doubled.
Talking to Ankit about his friendship with Namit and Aakash, he said, “Namit, Aakash and I have been brought up in the same way and it has been many years that we have been friends. In fact, I was in Dubai when Aakash called me up to inform that he has bagged the show and was excited…That’s the kind of bond we three share. We don’t need a particular reason to call each other. There has never been any enmity or jealously between the three of us.”
Shedding some light on the kind of the fun they have on the sets of Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai, Ankit averred, “We all have a lot of fun shooting too. And it is not only the three of us. I keep pulling Palak’s (Jain) leg frequently. The senior actors are also very friendly and approachable.”
Kudos to the friendship and we hope the bond only grows stronger!
