Kartik saves the day for Naira.
Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is currently showcasing an interesting plot line where Naira’s dream and Goenka Family’s reputation is at stake.
While Naira wants to fulfill Akshara’s dream of opening a dance academy, Dadi feels that Naira’s dancing career may affect Goenka family’s reputation. And amidst a battle of wills, Naira proves to Dadi that she is a capable daughter-in-law, thus leading to have the permission from Dadi to participate in the dance competition.
But when Dadi discovers that Naira’s dancing partner is a male (Kiran), she disapproves of Naira taking part in the couple dance round of the competition and berates the duo. Irked by Dadi’s allegations, Kiran leaves the competition and Naira in a lurch. Kiran infact even exits the venue inspite of Kartik trying his best to stop him.
A disheartened Naira, decides to go ahead with the competition anyway and starts performing. But when she is all frozen on stage at the time of Kiran’s supposed entry, Kartik steps on the stage and fills in for Kiran.
