Who knew that posting an image on social media would end up being a legal mess! This is what actress Gauahar Khan had to experience yesterday. A simple post appreciating the photographer’s skills and the model’s beauty has now landed the concerned party in a huge mess. And it isn’t just Gauahar, but Kushal Tandon too, who has now become the subject of a controversy.
Just yesterday, Kushal Tandon posted a probable ‘cover page’ image which had Gauahar as the model on his Instagram account, where he complimented the lady and the photographer who shot the image.
And Gauahar too, reciprocated to Kushal’s post by thanking the actor for the compliment and also thanking the photographer responsible for the snapshot.
However, things have taken an unanticipated turn as the high profile magazine, whose name is being used in that image has denied about Gauahar featuring on their cover for this month. The magazine has released a statement where they have clearly mentioned the fact that they would be taking strict legal action against the unauthorised usage of their masthead.

“Stardust would like to clarify that the post of Gauahar Khan on Instagram with the Stardust masthead has nothing to do with us. AJAY DEVGN is gracing the cover of Stardust February issue. We have come across a few articles which state that Gauahar is on the cover, so we would like to clear the air by saying that the news is false. Gauahar was also contacted for the same by us and unfortunately, she cannot delete the post as she thinks the media will make news of the same and again question her reconciliation with Kushal Tandon.
Legal action will be taken against the one who has used the masthead without our permission, thus defying our Company Policy.”
Well, neither did Kushal nor Gauahar imagine that a simple social media image would end up being blown out of proportion.
