Remember the adorable and supportive dadi from the movie, ‘Queen’? Yes. Actress, Tripta Lakhanpal aka Dadi from the movie, ‘Queen’ will now be seen making her TV debut.
According to a leading news daily, Tripta will be starring in the Zee TV show, ‘Zindagi Ki Mahek’ in a pivotal role. The actress will playing the role of a pardaadi (great grandmother) to the protagonist, Mahek (Samiksha Jaiswal).
Pretty similar to her role in ‘Queen’, Tripta, though the oldest member in the family will actually be the coolest one. As she is the pardaadi, she will affectionately be addressed as PD and her thoughts are as modern as any of the teens today. She will be sharing a special bond with her granddaughter, Mahek.
Having a one-of-a-kind story, Tripta actually faced the camera for the first time when she was 63 and will now make her TV debut at 75.
