He will be seen playing the main lead in the Diya Aur Baati Hum Sequel.
Star Plus recently announced their Star Plus Dopahar’ venture, for which they have four main shows lined up, namely Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka, Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee, Dhai Kilo Prem and Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji.
There is a lot of buzz surrounding Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji as it is the sequel to one of Star Plus’ cult shows Diya Aur Baati Hum. The story of Tu Sooraj… will pick up from where it left in the first season, ie. the deaths of Sooraj (Anas Rashid) and Sandhya (Dipika Singh).
The storyline has been shifted from Pushkar to Kerala, where Bhabho will be seen picking up the pieces of her life, post the deaths of Sooraj and Sandhya. However, the twist in the tale will be the factor that Bhabho will hate Sooraj and Sandhya’s daughter Khanak (Rhea Sharma) for reasons best known to her.
While the promo and look of Bhabho and Khanak has already been revealed, here is the look of this season’s male lead Avinesh Rekhi. Avinesh Rekhi plays the character of Uma Shankar and here is how he will be making his entry in the show.
Avinesh’s entry reminds one of the epic South Indian flick Baahubali. And co-incidentally the makers have shot this sequence at the same location in Kerala where the film was shot.
